Once a cat asked me for water with standing on two feet and pointing his hands towards his mouth and the trace of the water on the ground repeatedly. I bought the buddy a bottle of water and when I reached he went away then came back with his friends and I fed all of them the water. It was just like a movie.

@Senga Sengana That’s NOT true. I have a cat named Murphy. He wakes me up at night when he wants to eat by tapping on my face. The very first time he did it, he tapped on my face near my mouth, then tapped on his mouth. I promise it’s true. Cats are extremely smart!!

Be careful though some animals can become so reliant of humans that they can be in more danger if a random citizen helps such as seals such animals are illegal to approach instead call an animal protection agency like game wardens or MARP if you see an animal like that in fact MARP recommends all seal sightings be reported a team will be dispatched to determine if the seal is in distress

I've had two moments of an animal asking for help. The first was a mouse; I was walking home from grabbing a snack at the store down the street and came across a cat off in the grass. I stopped and saw that it was hunting and as I went to get back to going home I saw something dart towards me. The little mouse the cat had been hunting had come over and stopped at my feet just looking at me. Without even thinking I reached down and let it scamper up the arm of my jacket where it sat on my shoulder. I finished walking home, a good five minutes, and then extended my arm towards some bushes where it then scurried down and disappeared into the night. The second time was only a few weeks after the first, walking to the bus stop I saw a bird just chilling on the sidewalk. I figured it would fly off when I got close but this one didn't. I looked closer and saw that it had gum stuck on the side of it's body wrapped all the way up and around it's head. I gently approached it while telling it I was there to help, and after a minute or two of it hopping away from me, it finally let me start getting the gum off of it. Once I was done it gave off a few chirps then flew into a nearby tree, continuing to chirp happily. I think back on both of these fondly. Good intention are universally understood :)

About 13 years ago, I heard the strangest noise, And I had no idea what it was but it sounded like someone was in trouble. I went to investigate and discovered it was my next door neighbor’s dog, crying his guts our and totally panicking because he was tangled in a tarp that had been hung on top of its kennel (for shade, but had partially fallen into the kennel) it was wrapped around the dogs hips and strangling him tighter the more he tried to get out. It was just like the dog in this video trapped and in the sheet. I discovered the neighbors weren’t home, so I ran back to my house, grabbed the first thing I could find that I could cut the dog out of the tarp with, which happened to be a pair of kitchen sheers, then I hurried back out to the howling dog. The dog knew me a little but not well, and he was going completely wild in a panic. He was moving way too much for me to safely cut the tarp off of his hips. I was trying to figure out how to hold the scissors with one hand, hold the tarp with the other in order to cut it, and still hold the dog still, all while avoiding cutting the dog while working with the scissors. I just didn’t have enough hands for this, no one else was around, and this dog was a German Shepherd, he was a huge dog. And I am not a huge person. So I finally trapped the dog between my knees, held him in place just long enough to cut the tarp away. As soon as the tarp was cut, he took off like a shot and ran off. There were no fences around any of our yards. I immediately thought, “Oh no! I just let my neighbors dog run away!” But he came back. I realized he was just doing a victory lap, he was just so happy to be free. I closed the dog back in his kennel, gathered up the rest of the tarp, stuffed it in the garbage and I then I got the dog a fresh bowl of cool water. (It was a hot day and he had knocked his water over while panicking.) He and I became good friends after that. I remember thinking the ironic thing about this story was that he was trained rescue dog (his human mom was a paramedic and operated the local search and rescue team). So even rescuers need to be rescued sometimes.

@Challenging notions and beliefs I don't have a superiority complex. I'm just stating facts. You're just labeling it as something different because you assume im white or something. It must come to you that its pure ignorance what you're saying. I do not think I am superior to anyone, I view everyone as equal. What you're saying is the equivalent to saying that someone has a superiority complex if they acknowledge Yemeni children who have a hard life with a lot of hunger leading them. You do not realise the privilege we have that we live in first world countries. Some people out there, including in africa don't have that privilege. That's a fact, that is NOT a superiority complex, as you claim.

I have experienced this myself long ago when a cat came to me for help in rescuing her kitten. I was alone in the house sitting in the living room when a stray cat just walked in. I thought the cat wants to play so I patted it a bit. After some time it walked towards the door, turned around, looked at me and said “meow”. I understood that the cat was asking me to follow it. The cat led me outside behind the house to an empty water tank where a kitten had fallen in. It clearly wanted me help in getting the kitten out. So I brought a ladder which I placed inside the tank and climbed in. However the kitten was very scared and would not allow me to pick it up. It made threatening noises whenever I tried to approach it. After trying for some time I gave up and went back into the house, but left the ladder in place. Later when I went back to check, both the cat and the kitten had gone. I presume that the cat was able to carry the kitten up the ladder.

No most of the animals in this video weren't endangered by "human inventions", most of the perils in this video were naturally occurring. Animals seeking water, a dog falling into a frozen pond, a horse stuck in a mud hole, penguin chased by orcas, a turtle with a shell stuck on it's back, koalas in a forest fire - none of which were caused by "human inventions". lol most humans aren't that evil dude stop virtue signaling.

I love this video and I truly love seeing videos like this however I should mention to anyone outside of Australia, it wasn't just a few or several wildlife animals that died in our Australian fires, it was billions, and thousands of Koalas. The population of Koalas is not going to bounce back without a massive humanitarian effort. BTW i hate to be a downer but its true :(
Leia Tyndall
Leia Tyndall 3 ay əvvəl
And from what I learned yrs ago, it's pretty dire for koalas. If I remember correctly, both the captive & wild populations are facing different crises that make it hard to save either w/out introducing each's problems to the other. Koalas are susceptible to syphillis, and many have it, affecting health & birth rates, wgile the other group has very little genetic diversity. So, you can't take from one group & transplant them to the other population w/out negative consequences.

It also doesn't matter if it's a famous city or not (there are way bigger cities in China). The majority of Chinese people don't eat those things regardless. It's not a common thing to eat, which is why for most people, it's a delicacy. It's wrong to make fun of/generalize a nation of people because a few of them eat something that isn't normal in other places.

Back when I worked construction, we sometimes used a hydrovac system to locate gas, electric, fiber-optic and other utilities underground. We had dug a pretty substantial pit looking for something or other when we had to get a late start one morning; a dog had gotten stuck in the pit the night before. A dog isn't a horse of course, and an empty pit is a lot less treacherous than a bog; it only took us three construction workers and a high-visibility vest (used as a sling) to get the dog loose. Luckily he hadn't become aggressive from his ordeal or we would've had to call in professionals.

@Allen Phillips Ya but we got food saving technology and we can grow are own. We also build very complex systems to create more tools to make a better society. Also we keep animals as pet's and do to hunting and farming their are more wild animals now than could be had do to carrying capacity. Sure we kill the most dangerous animals but that's best for all animals. Then we hunt the animals keeping the numbers in check keeping things balanced. Now as for corruption and elites well they are sick and need to die but what ever.

@just another human humans are omnivores but they are still predators. You can care about animals and help them and still eat them. There is a difference between killing for food and being an asshole for no reason

I cried so much during this video. This is the reason I have so many babies that live with me in harmony! From rescued cats, a doggie, rats saved from an ahole breeder, snakes (they cuddle with me in bed), a tarantula that gives kisses, a scorpion that someone hurt, and a rescued abused red iguana missing half his tail! I don't buy animals like a collector or hobbyist... Whenever I see a child of this earth in danger, I do my best to rescue! Animals are life! I'm known around here as the Snake Lady, The Rat Lady, or the Crazy Animal Chick, people call me whenever needed. No shit.

Wish you’d included the clip of a shark, I think she was a mako, swimming up to a group of divers. She was tangled in an old net, and even had a hook through one pectoral fin. The divers were puzzled at first, “Why won’t this shark leave us alone?” Until she brushed along one guy, making sure he realized she needed help. They did manage to cut the net off and remove the hook… and she allowed a radio tracking tag to be attached. OR! The best drugs bust! A sea turtle was tangled in floating bouys, and the guys that saw him called the Coast Guard, since they weren’t sure how to help. This turtle was snared among two TONS of cocaine!

Ye, we stole the wild animals home after all just to create ours, they have the rights to beg for help. We stole almost 100 trillion trees or less than that.

I have a wild rabbit that when it seems me it runs up to me, every time! One day I was feeding the chicken's and it came running through the back yard and was jumping up and down and running around me then running towards the side yard. I decided to follow it and she took me to the side of the house where a car was lurking slowly. I chased the cat figuring maybe that stray was frightening her. She then went to a little hole in the ground where she had 4 babies. She wanted me to save her babies from the cat and came asking me for help. Nobody would believe it but I had witnesses. To this day when she sees me she comes running, today I just happened to be showing my daughter something outside from inside my house when the rabbit seen me through the window and came running up and jumped up to the window and stretched her neck looking at me 😂. I took her a handful of corn and she was happy. I did nothing to make them act this way, now I have about 20 rabbits that come to me or let me walk right past them, as long as I'm alone. If accompanied by someone next to me they run

I find it strangely touching that when an animal that would normally have a strong aversion to humans because we pose such great danger, will approach us for help when they are all out of options. They know they are taking a huge risk by doing so, but when the choice is either take that risk or die, they choose the former.

King Cobra’s are incredibly intelligent serpents that also rely on visual acuity to see what is in their environment. Watching one drink from a bottle of water is absolutely incredible and goes to show that reptiles (snakes in this instance) do actually have the ability to make decisions like taking water from a bottle. I have snakes myself and Ive taught a few of them how to accept water from a bottle when I’m out taking them to the vet or elsewhere.

"Animals asked humans for help" 90% of these were simply rescues. Sure, a few were animal>human interactions, but most were just "we found this animal hurt or threatened. Let's help it out." That's a rescue.

This has happened to me. Last year, I was standing in the kitchen, and saw outside the screen door birds swooping down at our dogs, who were on our deck. I went outside to see what was going on. My dog ended up catching and killing one of the birds😭 but anyways. I was looking for why they were swooping until I heard a bird crying and so I followed the noise and I saw a bird stuck in a net, so I helped him out and he flew away, with the birds that were swooping. after that, all of the birds stopped swooping at our deck afterwards.
